Workshop organizers can not provide computers or other equipment needed to carry out projects. Network infrastructure and Internet access will be provided.
Due to university network infrastructure maintenance, some network dropouts can be expected from 15th to 21st Aug.
Participants will be connected to local-area network using wired connection (over Ethernet switches). Local network will have access to the Internet via a 100 Mbps (minimum) link. Ethernet (RJ45) cables will be provided.
For those staying at dorms Borska or Klatovska: internet connection is provided here for free. Ethernet cable is NOT provided here, please, bring your own, if you need internet connection at the dorms too.
Warning: You must be registered to the dorms network. We will need your MAC address and room number. We will organize this together on the first day of the workshop (or individually later if you won't be here yet).
In general, we aim to run a paperless workshop as much as possible, and we encourage the electronic exchange of all documents.
Organizers can provide several tools:
The electric outlets are rounded with two holes and one pin. Voltage 230 V, 50 HZ.
If your project needs to setup any tool or if you have any other technical requests, please feel free to contact Pavel Campr.
